Custom Orders!!!

That's right!!! I had two custom orders to complete before July and I think they turned out GREAT!

I am ALWAYS willing to take custom orders and requests for items!! It's more fun than just making something at random! Let me know if you know anyone that would be interested in having me make them a card!! I charged $8 for each of these due to materials and my time. I keep track of both so I can price fairly! :) I have business cards I can mail also if you'd like to see one!

The theme on this one is Vintage/Elephants :) I LOVE Pickles and Onion (the Elephants from Daisy and Dandelion) so I was totally excited to use this image :) Paper is random vintage-y looking that i found in my stash. I used Distress Stickles on the flowers to make them have more color and match the paper better.

The theme on this one was 4th of July... and it is by far my favorite out of the two cards... I used Glamour from the Cheeky Cherry Collection from TGF and Basic Grey paper from the Boxer collection. The flag is cut out from a piece of paper.

My flowers came from Wild Orchid Crafts and Michaels.

If anyone is interested or has any questions, email me at amyjsamuelson@yahoo.com and type "custom order" in the subject line!! I will email back promptly and ask you questions and get things figured out. I am having custom order forms printed at some point so I will be able to mail em out.

I hope to do a craft show this fall... so once I find out details I will post them!!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a GREAT 4th of July!! :)

Update!

It's been awhile, so i thought i should post and let ya know what i have been doing!

I have been busy making Valentine's Day cards, Birthday cards and cleaning house, so i haven't been getting much done business wise. I have been reading a book on Feng Shui and trying to incorporate it into my home to see if it helps. So, i have been going thru everything and getting rid of things we don't use or need anymore... getting rid of "someday" clothes... (clothes that i plan on wearing or just don't want to get rid of cuz they are cute but i don't wear em... or clothes that i have saved of Madi's that we don't need to save). I also read somewhere that if you get rid of 50 things that you don't need anymore that it clears your mind. I can't remember where i read it but i figure why not try it out! :)

I have been making lil doll-sized scarves for craft shows and my Etsy store... (i haven't posted anything on the Etsy site yet but i hope to get internet back soon so i can do it!) Madi loves them... she had me make a bunch for her lil stuffed kitties and Build-A-Bear animals and dolls. I figure if she likes them, other little girls will, so i am going to make a bunch of different colors and lengths for them to choose from and if they want i can take special orders to make a matching scarf for their little girl! :) i'm excited! They are super fast and easy for me to do so i can make a whole bunch in one night if i sit down and don't do anything else.

Next step i hope to accomplish within the next couple weeks is getting business cards designed and ordered. My mom and i are going to sit down and design them together so they reflect both of our tastes and we can get both of ours ordered at one shot. I will send them out with cards and RAKS and such to people to get the word out (if they aren't seeing it here already) and placing them at random business locations.

I hope to make this dream a reality by this time next year. My goal for this year is to make $365 selling crafts. I think it's realistic... right?

Anyways, off to get some things done, hope all is well with everyone and take care!
